General Description 

Equiscript is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative. The representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers and generating qualified leads. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead Generation 
    • Identify and research potential leads through various sources, including social media, online databases, and industry events. 
  • Cold calling potential leads 
    • Initiate contact with new leads without call reluctance. 
  • ​​​​​​​Sales Process 
    • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. 
    • Update Sales force and hand off qualified lead to respective territory client sales executive.   
  • Collaboration: 
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies and campaigns. 
    • Collaborate with the sales team to hand off qualified leads  
  • Reporting: 
    • ​​​​​​​Track and report sales metrics and performance to management. 
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system. 
  • Continually improve sales processes. 

  • Work as a member of our Client Sales Team, contributing ideas and best practices to help the team learn and grow. 

  • Collaborate with and support other members of the Equiscript team in their efforts to implement and serve clients. 

  • Demonstrate a professional, personable demeanor in order to build team camaraderie and develop external business relationships.

  • Strong PC skills (Gmail, Google Apps, web-based programs, Salesforce.com experience strongly preferred) 

  • Office-based position with very little travel (5-10%) required 

Preferred Experience 

  • Proven experience in inside sales or a related field 

  • 340B experience a plus, Healthcare experience preferred 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred  

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to work in a home office environment using a phone and computer 

  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods, as well as occasional stooping and reaching.  May require lifting up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
